Unfortunately there will be no coding this year as I am still in the early stages of the citybuild phase. I will not be ready to get into the meat of the game until my skeleton (the world) is much, much closer to complete.
The basic city shape is complete with most of the streets, highways, and pedestrian paths built. There are a couple thousand buildings linked, but still MANY more to create. I will be working hard this year to increase world density by populating Center City with a wide variety of planned structures and other points-of-interest. The goal is to bring the total room count, at a minimum, somewhere over 25,000 this year - about 2.5x the number of rooms currently built.
Check out the News and Updates page for information on my progress throughout the year, updated at least monthly.
A mostly very unproductive year of worldbuilding. You may have noticed the numbers on my News and Updates page have barely moved... There are big plans for 2023 that will hopefully be reflected on that page sooner than later. Here's to next year!
Attempt to finish major worldbuilding and begin filling the world with items, mobs, and descriptions. Stay tuned.
Huge things are happening. Bew info is up on the News and Updates page, with a lot more to come. So far it seems 2024 is the year of python coding (it's about time)! The game is actually starting to look like more of a game, and less of a "walk around the city" simulator.
